Adny's Fresco Weirdness

Things to download

• Replacement Templates more suitable for machines stuck using SVGA (800x600) screen modes.
  There's also another set for machines using VGA (640x480) screen modes.
  To install:
  1. Open the !Voyager.Apps.Web.!Fresco directory (don't forget to shift-doubleclick on the applications)
  2. Rename the existing templates file to something like ~template (so that you can restore it if things go wrong later).
  3. Copy the templates file from the archive into the !Fresco directory.

• New Edit Source sprites
  These sprites look more like edit source than view source so help to avoid confusion...
  To install:
  1. Open the !Voyager.Apps.Web.!Fresco directory (don't forget to shift-doubleclick on the applications)
  2. Copy the existing Sprites22 file as something like ~Spr22 (so that you can restore it if things go wrong later).
  3. Load the Sprites22 file into !Paint
  4. Drag the newed_1 spritefile from the archive into the !Paint window.
  5. Resave the sprites (as Sprites22 again).

  There's also a newed_24 spritefile in the archive which contains low resolution versions of the new sprites. Simply install these in the same manner as above, but into the Sprites file rather than Sprites22.

• My Museum history viewer.
  During the beta-testing, there were problems with the global history function in Fresco (ie. it simply didn't work - the history was kept up to date, but it was never actually used).
  At that time, I wanted to use the history so I knocked this up: it's a tiny app. that creates an HTML file from Fresco's global history file and the runs it for you.
